I am currently taking a few landscape painting commissions for summer 2018.
- Send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or fill out this form to let me know you are interested in commissioning a painting. Tell me what you are thinking of and include photos of what you want me to paint if you have them.
- Once we settle on the subject matter and size, you'll pay me half the cost of the painting. This secures your spot on my calendar and allows me to get started.
- I will show you progress photos along the way if you would like to see them (some clients like to be surprised at the end) and I will send you a photo for approval when I am done. I want you to absolutely love the painting, so I ask clients to be forthcoming with feedback and their requests for changes. I have never had a client not love their finished painting and they normally have very minimal, if any changes, after I think it is done.
- You'll pay the second half, plus shipping, once the painting is done. If you are not happy with the finished product, you are not obligated to buy the painting, but you will lose your deposit.
- 16"x16" - $375
- 16"x20" - $425
- 18"x24" - $475
- 24"x24" - $650
- 24"x36" - $950
- 30"x40" - $1,225
- 36"x36" - $1,350
- 36"x48" - $1,675
- 36"x60" - $2,050
I typically paint on 1.5" gallery-wrapped canvases, but can also paint on cradled wood panels.

"My wife and I have purchased several of her pieces and 2 commissions. All of her work is fantastic and even more vibrant in person. She is extremely responsive, candid, and professional. If you own land and want to have a painting of it, she is the first person you should call! She and her husband are also very sweet people and a pleasure to be around. The whole package!"
"Catherine was amazing to work with! In addition to being a great artist, she is dependable and a wonderful communicator!! She never let me down."
"Commissioning Catherine for a painting was a great experience. When I sent her the photograph, she was clear about her reservations about particular parts of the painting (in my case, I had loads of buildings and my dogs in the photo). I didn't care about the buildings, but I did care about the dogs. She asked for lots of pictures of the dogs in low light from behind and details about their breed. She sent sketches and asked for feedback. She messaged me about the progress. She sent it three weeks before I needed to give it as a gift. My husband was thrilled, and unprompted, said "their butts are perfect." It was a perfect first anniversary present."
"Catherine did a painting for us of a very special place. A place we only get to visit once a year. A place we have been going to for years. She managed to completely and perfectly capture the essence and the beauty of our favorite spot with incredible detail. We have the painting hanging over our fireplace and enjoy it every day. Thank you Catherine for giving us our little piece of heaven to tide us over until the next visit.
