10 gifts for everyone on your list
I have always loved giving gifts more than receiving them but that doesn’t mean I think finding the right gift is always a breeze. To make this holiday season a little breezier for you, I have put together a gift guide!
I hope you find it helpful and, as always, if you need any assistance choosing the right gift this holiday season, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Send me an email at catherine@catherinefreshleyart.com. Or, come into the gallery. We're open Wednesdays 12-6 and on Saturdays through Christmas from 11-4.
1. For everyone: A calendar
I am not kidding when I say everyone can use a calendar. Sure, most people keep at least a portion of their calendars digitally, but it is so helpful to have a visible, physical reminder of what’s going on in your life. Basically everyone I know has a calendar on the fridge. And, this year, we redesigned the calendar so that you can actually keep your appointments on it. Calendars are available individually or as gift sets of five.
2. For the person that has everything, including a smart TV: Digital art
I sell sets of digital art that can be displayed on smart TVs and computer desktops. I may be partial, but looking at my art is a big upgrade from looking at a black TV screen or whatever default photo Windows is showing on your computer. Each set comes with four images and is only $35
3. For the person that has everything, but not a smart TV: Note cards
These sets of eight notecards and envelopes are the perfect gift for someone who has everything because they are useful and expendable. You won’t have to worry that the recipient already has note cards – they probably do and that’s ok. They will use them up and need more. These are printed on a lovely, thick paper and are perfect for all note-writing occasions.
4. For someone special: A bold sunset painting
This 20”x20” painting is part of my new collection, “Paintings from Paintings.” It’s bold and graphic and just the right size for welcoming into your home without triggering a whole remodel.
5. For someone that’s hard to shop for: My best-selling print
This bright, abstract take on Oregon’s wine country and Chehalem Mountains has been leading the pack in print sales all year. If everyone else likes it, chances are the special snowflake on your list will too. Available in multiple sizes
6. The modernist with limited wall space: A vibrant, contemporary painting
This bright, geometric painting will liven up any space. And, want to know something fun about it? You can hang it any way you want.
7. For the aspiring artist: Painting classes
I have several recorded painting classes available on my website. They are incredibly affordable and get stellar reviews
8. For the minimalist with a big wall: This stunner
This large painting was inspired by the colors of flowers blooming in my neighborhood this spring. This gorgeously simple painting is actually full of subtle texture and intrigue when viewed up close. It’s framed in a maple strip frame by a Portland framer, and it did a tour at one of Portland’s premier restaurants
9. For the person that wants the full experience: An art date
Treat the person you’re shopping for to an art-buying date in my gallery! We’re always open Wednesdays from 12-6 and through Christmas, we’re also open on Saturdays from 11-4. Saturday, Dec. 23rd and Wednesday, Dec. 27th would be perfect days for a special shopping experience! join us for mulled wine – and maybe Christmas cookies if you’re lucky. Either purchase a digital gift certificate in advance to present to the recipient, or just come on in
10. For the gamer and puzzler: Puzzles!
I have puzzles available through both Fine Art America and Society6.
