Thank you for a banner year and happy holidays

When my husband and I started dreaming about opening a gallery, we envisioned a welcoming place for people to gather and for us to build community.

At our November First Friday event, members of my husband’s extended family delighted in finding each other here, people who didn’t realize they had me as a mutual friend ran into each other, people who live in the neighborhood came in for the first time, small business owners that have become our friends showed up, kids colored, and children and adults alike worked on one of my new puzzles. We served mojitos and ate leftover Halloween candy. The evening was perfect.

We are so pleased and proud to be able to bring this happy, art-filled space to the community. We wouldn’t be able to do this without you. Year after year, you keep choosing me and choosing to support small business. It is incredible.

This has been a banner year all around. We donated $1,000 to non-profits that help people pursue their dreams; we displayed art for the 10th annual Portland Winter Light Festival – a free, family-friendly event; we hosted a “field trip” from a retirement community; my work was placed in seven medical facilities in Washington, California, and Colorado; and my mom and I celebrated her 70th with 10-day artist residencies in adjacent cabins. And… you all purchased more art from me this year than in any other year!

Art benefits people in so many ways; thank you for allowing me to keep doing this. My husband and I wish you and yours a happy and healthy holiday season and 2026.

With gratitude,

Catherine & Tom
