Evening Drive - Framed Canvas Print

In the summer of 2017, while living in Oklahoma, there were several Sundays in a row with stunning sunsets. After lazing around all day, trying to survive the heat, we would watch the evening clouds in disbelief and say, “It’s happening again!” We then would hop in the truck and head out on a dirt road to our favorite sunset spots to take in a beautiful summer evening and capture photos to paint from. This painting is based on one of those sunsets.

This is a print on canvas framed in a solid maple floater frame.

Details

The art is printed on a thick, archival-grade canvas to ensure durability and it is pH neutral and acid-free, so it will not yellow over time. It has a matte finish. The colors are bright and vivid and will resist fading for more than 100 years. The art is carefully hand-stretched over solid wood stretcher bars, then framed in a .5” wide maple floater frame. The floater frame creates the illusion that the canvas print floats inside the frame, adding more depth and visual interest to your overall display.
