This painting was painted as part of a triptych that shows a scene of Willapa Bay as seen from Oysterville, Washington. I took the inspiration photo on gorgeous, crisp, October evening. I walked across a large meadow out toward the bay, enthralled (as always) by the stunning array of colors in the grasses, the water, and sky. I knew I had to capture this evening and the vast expanse.
