Neon Sky Over the Bay - 36"x48" landscape painting

This is an original, 36”x48,” acrylic painting. On this evening, all the colors in the land, water, and sky seemed to glow. I wanted to accentuate them and create a painting that is both peaceful and energetic. This painting is part of a collection of six paintings called “Love Letter to the Bay.”

I used pink and orange fluorescent paint in this painting in the sky and the water. It is very hard to photograph accurately. The sky and water are more vibrant in the real painting than what you (likely) see on your monitor.

The painting is framed in a 2” deep maple strip frame. I painted my initials on the front and signed the back with my full name, the year, and the painting’s title. The painting is wired and ready to hang. My paintings include a certificate of authenticity.

Please note: This painting is hanging in a show at Capitola Coffee in Portland, Oregon through April 30. I will ship your painting after the show comes down. If you are local to Portland, we can arrange pick-up or delivery for after April 30.
