My husband and I make an unnatural number of trips to Lowe's. The good part of these frequent excursions is that the the three-mile trip takes us through some nice fields. And where we turn to head south, the paved road gives way to red dirt heading north and west. So -- a Lowe's trip is often a picture-taking trip for me.
I took the photo for this painting while driving there yesterday. The yellow flowers were so pretty, I had to paint them. I am not sure what they are, but being a girl from the city, I am always intrigued by the fields and the planting seasons, which main a bit of a mystery to me.
